Job requiments:

Education

- University graduate in metallurgy, chemistry, chemical engineering or other related technical discipline.

Skills & Experience

- Clear & concise written & spoken English, including technical English related to chemistry, metallurgy & minerals processing.

- At least 5 years experience in mineral flotation & separation or experience in technical sales role related to similar production processes with chemical industrial applications.

- Good interpersonal and organizational skills

- Good written & oral English (good Vietnamese, Chinese or German would be an advantage)

- Good Understanding of Inco Terms 2010

- Good Understanding of customs / export regulations & transport logistics and regulations

- International experience essential.

- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), SAP/ERP experience would be an advantage

- Commercial experience or understanding of cost/margin analysis. 

- Able to establish systems & processes to ensure consistent methodical approach

- Experience dealing with other nationalities, especially Europe, North America

Job responsibilities:

General 

- To be the key point of contact for day to day customer sales and support. 

- To gather market information and specific customer data – demand drivers, customer & competitor analysis.

- To understand customer expectations & requirements in detail. 

Be the bridge for communication between NPMC technical departments & customers [include QA/QC, lab etc]

- To assist the Customer Service staff in any pre- and post-shipment requirements to ensure customer and NPMC requirements are met.

- Arrange and oversee administration of any tolling or third-party processing.



Detail duties:

- Assist with the creation of the marketing plan for each product and implement same at direction of SM Department Director.

- Implement with clear written agreements with customers for product sales.

- Manager any product trials – timing, quality expectations, quantity, scheduling; i.e : all ‘rules of engagement’.

- Agree & implement corrective action plans with customers as required

- Register agreed testing methods under each customer contract, agree changes if required.

- Agree & manage technical exchange with customers include round-robin lab testing.

- Arrange & coordinate sales/delivery schedules to each customer – coordinate changes as required.

- Document and manage adherence to customer contracts (include physical product requirements, notice periods, quality system [eg:  DuPont] & documentation requirements).

- Identify & assess opportunities to value-add to existing product streams.

- Manage contractors as required – including port weighing & sampling contractor.

- Timely and accurate provision of reports to Management as required.
